The Crawling/Standing Machine

Sebastian is really starting to freak me out. Last week, I went to get him from his crib in the morning and he was standing up, holding on the rails and jumping up and down. It creeped me out. I didn't even get him out, I just ran to find David before he fell. The crib got dropped 5 minutes later. Now he does it EVERY single nap, bedtime, etc. It's insane. Where did the tiny, helpless baby I brought home for the hosptial go? He's crawling like a mad man and loves to shove as many cords into his mouth as possible before I can catch him. Over the weekend he learned how to crawl up 2 stairs. Yeah, I about had a a heart attack. Good thing I was behind him because he'll just decide he's tired and let go. He refuses to play on the ground now like a good boy and has decided his only mission in life is to pull himself up onto anything possible. He pulls himself on the the chairs, couches, my legs, coffee table, cabinets to pull out all the plastic tubbies. It's so fun and cute to see. The best is when he starts crying and I'll be in the kitchen making dinner or something so he's cry all the way into where i'm at really fast and then pull himself up using my pants until I'll pick him up. It's hard being upset with such a cute little boy. I sure love him. He has become SO fun and loves to laugh all the time. I shouldn't admit this but he says "da da" ALL THE TIME to David and then when I say "no, say mama he just laughs and says "da da." NOT COOL! What a freakin crock. I get up with him all night, feed him, play with him, change 95% of his diapers, etc. and he STILL says "da da" first. Blah. That's okay now that David's back at school all day long I'll have more time to get him back on track! haha

Did I mention that he only likes his jumparoo from the outside now because he can pull himself up and play with the toys from the outside? I think that he think that the inside of the jumparoo is for babies!
